April 28th at the Contact Theatre in Manchester
Solid Earth birthday doo. Three rooms for a tenner and it's all in aid of the world's worst humanitarian disaster - the crisis in Darfur.

Space One will feature live bands: The Blendaholics, Gabrielle's Wish, & Tycoons Follies.
Space Two beats, breaks and bass courtesy of the Stumblefunk: Sine & Fibre (live), Pendle Coven (live), Ken Evil, Witchdoktor, and more.
The Foyer will be on a funk, afrobeat and reggae tip: Dom Blood & Fire, Defunkles, Hoods, R-Lass and Reddread & Rich Reason.

12pm, University of Manchester Students Union, Oxford Road (opposite the Holy Name Church. Demonstrate for Free Education and Social Justice

As part of the TUC's day of action to defend public services, students and lecturers will be holding a joint rally supporting everyones right to education and in defence of public services. After the rally there will be a march down Oxford Road to join the nurses picket outside the Manchester Royal Infirmary.

Thursday 3rd May
7.30pm (venue tbc) DISCUSSION ABOUT "SUPPORTING IRAQI RESISTANCE" - following email debate about the leaflet. Having a debate about this is welcomed, as Stop the Warmongers is an organisation that does not have a "line" but is keen on political debate, analysis and activity.

Saturday 12th May
Northern Rally - The biggest ever Palestinian event in the North. A major solidarity rally in Sheffield City Centre organised by Northern PSC branches with guest speakers including Clare Short, a marquee, dabka dancers, samba bands, Palestinian food, photographic exhibition and stalls.

Sunday 13th May
1pm to 2pm, Peace Garden, Manchester. Ceremony to mark the International Conscientious Objectors' Day. With speakers (tbc), peace poems, laying of flowers dedicated to individual conscientious objectors, two mins silence and songs. Organised by Quaker Peace Group Manchester. 2nd - 9th June
10am - 4pm at the Catholic Church Hall, High St., Uppermill. My Country is the Whole World’ WOMEN PEACEMAKERS. Saddleworth Peace Movement is hosting this exhibition from the Peace Museum, Bradford as our contribution to Saddleworth Festival.
